The Scent:

Sultry and intoxicating, this scent captures the essence of New Orleans, not least of which is its local fare and signature cocktail, the Sazerac — a mouth-watering blend of rye, absinthe and bitters. The base note of toasted oak evokes aging whiskey barrels, while subtle aromas of herbaceous bitters and Cajun spices lend additional layers of richness.

The Memory:

Inspired by the spirit of New Orleans, I created this rich, yet uplifting, scent for our “Big Day” in the “Big Easy.” Guests signed a toasted oak barrel that we later filled with unaged whiskey in the hopes that, like the aging spirit, our relationship would become more complex, enjoyable and smoother with each passing year. This aroma embodies the sweetness of the moment of our event, and the distinctive warmth of New Orleans’ ambiance.

Intoxicating!
I was gifted by AERANGIS of their No. 0324 Aging Spirits Scented Candle in exchange of my honest review. This candle smells exactly like peaty whiskey that my husband likes so much. I really like it and this is the perfect gift for him. The scents is strong and intoxicating.

Relaxing smoked cocktail scent
No. 0324 Aging Spirits Scented Candle - is my second candle from Aerangis and I am so impressed how much care and love they put in every package. Candles come with care & safety instructions, with biodegradable dust cover that contains wildflower seeds. When your candle is finished you can simply plant them in same jar.
Aging Spirits smells like smoked whiskey cocktail, that my bf drinks. Definitely can notice the star anise and spicy notes.
Love everything from packaging to jar, candle scent and even dust cover.
