As a sustainable brand that prioritizes minimizing environmental impact, we think it is important to share a few key tips on how to take care of your favorite scents. Ensuring you’re maximizing the life span of your candles is one of the ways to avoid unnecessary waste.
Trim the wick before every burn
Keeping the wick trimmed gives a candle a clearer and cleaner burn, which in turn, allows the candle to last longer. Trimming the wick also ensures that the candle gets an even burn.

Avoid direct sunlight
The heat from the sun can melt your candle before you get to enjoy it so avoid placing it by the window or anywhere that gets direct sunlight. Intense sunlight can also easily make your candle more susceptible to going bad.
Put your candles away when not in use
If you don’t plan to use your candles, put them away once they cool down. Store them in a linen closet or a bookshelf that doesn’t get direct sunlight. This way, they won’t accumulate dust and can stay cleaner, too.
Avoid storing them somewhere humid
Candles are best kept as dry as possible, so avoid keeping them in places with high humidity and moisture. Bathrooms or kitchens, for example, are not ideal locations for candles.
